I became
interested in Chinese Medicine after
receiving my own significant results
with Acupuncture treatment. I had sustained
injuries from an automobile accident
in 1983 that left me with chronic neck
and lower back pain with leg pain (sciatica).
I had been using Chiropractic manipulation
and massage for my pain with only temporary
relief at best. While studying Biochemistry
at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I
took a course on integrative medicine
and was introduced to Acupuncture. I
received my first treatments and pain
relief in years and decided to pursue
an education and career in Chinese Medicine.
I graduated
Cum Laude from Pacific College of Oriental
Medicine in 1992 with the Master of
Traditional Oriental Medicine degree.
I was licensed by the Medical Board
of California in 1993 and joined the Memorial
Prompt Care Medical Group in March
1997. I received a Doctor of Oriental
Medicine degree from South Baylo University,
Anaheim CA in 2006.
I have been
a founding Board of Directors member
of several professional organizations:
- 1997-1998 California
State Oriental Medicine Association
- 2000 National
Guild for Acupuncture and Oriental
Medicine, #62 AFL-CIO
- 2001 National
Oriental Medicine Accreditation Agency,
a first professional
OMD degree program
For over 12 years I have been a
key provider in all aspects of acupuncture
at Memorial Prompt Care Medical Group
in Huntington Beach, California. Here's
what a few of my patients would
like
to share about their acupuncture treatment
experience:
